  A local favorite for mountain top diner breakfasts and lunch. Fashioned after the Arlo Guthrie song ("You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant.") Service is attentive, quick, and very friendly. There is plenty of space to sit indoor, outdoor, or on the rear deck (weather permitting). There's plenty of kisch on the walls, too.
  
  The food comes out quick, so be prepared! We had breakfast, and it was great. We both got eggs with bacon or ham, potatoes, and biscuit. Everything was delicious, though a little greasy, but in a delicious way. The potatoes were crispy new potato quarters that were deep fried...unexpected but delicious. The eggs were excellently cooked. The bacon was delicious (a little fatty), and the biscuit was good (maybe not homemade, but satisfying). I was full the whole day after that. Definitely a place you want to save up calories for.
  
  Last, Alice's focuses on locally sourced food and tapping into local history. It's a pretty cool place

  I visit my family in Fresno often throughout the year and I make my sister bring me here on every visit. This is absolutely my favorite Italian food and I wish they would open a franchise.
  We always order one of the combination plates at lunch and share so we can have a dessert to enjoy after.
  I haven't had a bad dish here yet and don't expect to.

  We came here after hiking a nearby trail. It's a favorite haunt of local bikers since it's located at a rather quaint intersection. The food is hearty, and there's something about enjoying a beer in the middle of the forest setting that is quite special.
